This 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 has been extensively refurbished and upgraded with both performance and utility in mind. Work included refinishing the truck in green, fitting a full roll cage with replacement seating, and installing a late-model 350ci V8 paired to a four-speed manual transmission.
Additional features include a dual-range transfer case, ceramic-coated exhaust, lifted suspension with Rancho shocks and steering dampers, and four-wheel disc brakes for improved stopping power. A receiver hitch, locking center console, and power steering further enhance drivability and practicality.
Black-finished 15″ American Racing wheels are mounted with 35×12.50″ BF Goodrich Baja Champions, with a matching spare fitted to the rear carrier. The truck is also equipped with manually locking front hubs, a Hi-Lift jack mounted under the rear spare tire, and a Smittybuilt 9500 front winch with recovery hooks, steel bumpers, and Manic side steps, all topped with a black soft top.
The interior features sound-deadening material and rubberized floor mats for durability and comfort. Seating consists of aftermarket adjustable front bucket seats and a black leather-trimmed Mastercraft rear bench, along with a full audio sound system, heater, locking center console, cupholders, and a fire extinguisher mounted to the roll cage, with a tow rope stored under the rear seat.
An aftermarket tilting steering column supports the replacement steering wheel, which frames a 100-mph speedometer alongside gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, volts, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 69k miles, though total mileage remains unknown, while under the hood the Chevrolet 350ci V8 is equipped with chrome valve covers, a chrome-finished air cleaner, aluminum radiator, extra-large battery, and multi-color RGB rock lights in the wheel fenders, controlled via remote or phone app.
